Namotel might not be famous as other handsets, but the new Bengaluru-based smartphone is launch claiming the Beware to the world cheapest android phoneworld cheapest handset. Based to the company representative Madhava Reddy, the Namotel Acche Din will be on sale for crazy as Rs. 99 which is more or less $1.5 US Dollar.

When it comes to the specs of Namotel Acche Din is mentioned to have a 4inch display, back and front facing camera, supports 3G, dual SIM a 1.3GHz quad-core processor together with 1GB of RAM a 4GB internal storage and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The handset is offered for pre-order from May 17 to May 25 on company official website, Reddy stated at press conference. The handset is part of the “Make it in India” Initiative.

Smartphone promotion is a competitive business in India, where the normal price of the device is around $150. The company are now receiving into the routine of releasing super-cheap handsets in order to break into the industry.

As of today, two Indian companies have already released their version of the world cheapest smartphones.  Ringing Bell offered the Freedom 251 that priced Rs. 251 or approximately $3.74US Dollar, and the Docoss X1 with a price tag of Rs. 888 or $13.23 US Dollar. Each device started to become national sensation not only for their super cheap price but also because of the reviews that surrounded on them, just like the cellular country reviews turns to be a good review.

While Freedom 251 made into a problem due to this failure to provide the volume of smartphone requested, the jury is still out on Docoss X1.

With the battle of cheap smartphone, Namotel Acche Din is now on the spotlight.
